Op 28 juni viert GEWIS haar 26e verjaardag. Daarom zal op 26 juni een Diesborrel gehouden worden. Kom ook!
Op woensdag 28 mei 2008 zal Dispuut "In Vino Veritas" voor de tweede keer in samenwerking met Studium Generale een PopQuiz organiseren. De Quiz zal plaatsvinden in het Gaslab (op het TU-terrein) en zal om 20:00u beginnen.

De ACtiefste commissie van GEWIS organiseert wederom een spetterende ACtiviteit. Op 27 mei zullen de Schotse Dommelspelen gehouden worden, welke een soort zeskamp zijn in het teken van de Schotse Hooglandspelen. De ACtiviteit zal worden gehouden op het pabo-veldje (tussen Fontys en de Zaale), en begint om 14:00 uur. Aansluitend is er een buitenborrel met barbecue.

Dear GEWIS'ers,
The most ACtive Commission of GEWIS organises once again a splattering ACtivity. The 27th of May the Scottish Dommelgames will be held, which are an adaption of the Scottish Highland games. The ACtivity will be held on the field between the fontys building and the street "De Zaale", and start at 14:00 hours. After the games there is time for a beer and there will be a barbecue.

Jaja, lieden, het is weer tijd voor een EJC activiteit! Dit keer is het een activiteit naar het gelijknamige programma van de publieke omroep: ZigZag!
We hebben verschillende activiteiten opgezet met een spetterend eindspel! Prijsjes zijn er weer om te verdelen!

Vrijdag 9 mei tot en met maandag 12 mei gaat B.O.O.M. een weekend weg. Wil jij mee? Schrijf je dan in. Het wordt een weekend vol avontuur in het buitenland. En dat voor maar 40 euro! We gaan kanoën, mountainbiken, klimmen en natuurlijk veel plezier hebben. Dit alles zal plaatsvinden in de mooie natuur van FontaineBleau.

Dispuut B.O.O.M.
Woensdag 7 mei wordt AC Karten georganiseerd bij Hezemans Indoor Karting. We zullen om 15:40u verzamelen bij GEWIS en beginnen rond 16:30u met karten. Je kunt met de bus of met de fiets komen. Kosten zijn 7 euro plus eventueel 2 euro aan lidmaatschapskosten.
Ook dit jaar doet GEWIS weer mee aan de Batavierenrace, 's werelds grootste estafetteloop. Een hardloopwedstrijd van Nijmegen naar Enschede met na afloop een groot studentenfeest. Zin om mee te doen, schrijf je dan gauw in!
Op 24 april a.s. houdt LaQuSo (NIRICT Laboratory for Quality Software) haar jaarlijkse internationale symposium en tooltentoonstelling. Het symposium is bedoeld om kennis uit te wisselen over methoden en technieken op het gebied van softwaretesten en softwarekwaliteit. Het thema dit jaar is "Softwarekwaliteit in outsourcing".
Aanstaande dinsdag (morgen) is er een borrel die traditiegetrouw
georaniseerd wordt door dispuut "In Vino Veritas". Vanwege de
weersverwachting zal deze plaatsvinden op het grasveldje aan de
noordzijde van het hoofdgebouw.
U bent allen van harte welkom om met ons het glas te heffen op de
gezindheid van de weergoden, de afloop van uw tentamens, danwel enig
ander voor u belangwekkend doel. De borrel vangt aan om 16:30 uur.

Op donderdag 17 april wordt er weer Frans geborreld! Op deze verlengde borrel kun je heerlijke wijnen proeven, broodjes brie en filet eten of kaasplankjes nuttigen. Ook is er een speciaal wijnmenu samengesteld.
