I.V.V Digital Decadent Weekend: Keuken Met I.V.V

Dear food lover, As previous participants will confirm, the Decadent Weekend is most famous for its Saturday evening. Tucked away in a foreign castle, the gentlemen of I.V.V have come together to prepare a luxurious seven-course dinner for their guests on the Saturday evening. While the guests are entertained through other means during the day, I.V.V spends all day cooking and baking the most delicious and exciting meals to surprise your tastebuds later that evening. Unfortunately, Mister Corona does not allow us to come together in a large group and enjoy a candlelit dinner. Luckily, I.V.V has been able to take the experience to your doorstep. The boys of Keuken met I.V.V will be joined by a special guest to prepare a four-course meal through a live cooking-stream, and you can even cook along! We will supply you with a box containing all the ingredients and along with the instructions of Dhr. Houthuijs and the special guest, provide you with all the means to create this four-course meal for your guests. The only thing you must do is make sure your wine cellar is stocked. • Amuse: Parmaham-package filled with ricotta and asparagus
• Starter: Undisclosed I.V.V-Specialty
• Main: Herb-crusted Lamb-Rack with roast potato and caramelised vegetables
• Dessert: Avocado-Chocolate Mousse with fresh fruit

Unlike previews editions of Keuken met I.V.V this edition will be in English! You can join in groups of 2 or 4, as the corona-measures are still unsure. Note that the maximum number of participants is 60! On Wednesday 12 May we will deliver a package containing all the ingredients, but we do expect you to have some basic products at home, like olive oil, salt, pepper, etc. Make sure you or one of your friends have a blender/food-processor as this is required for the dessert. Also, please mention whether you will be eating with GEWIS-members, Non-GEWIS-members or first years! Unfortunately, there is no vegetarian alternative for the menu above, but be sure to look out for a vega-edition of Keuken met I.V.V in the future!
