The time has finally come! They yearbook of the association year 2022-2023 is here. We from YBC23 could not be happier to finally show you our work. If you have written a piece for the yearbook, you might remember a hint about the theme. Now you can finally check!

You can pick up a yearbook by stopping by at the GEWIS room and approach any board member or room responsible, they can then give you a book!

3, 2, 1, ACTION!

We'd like to invite all Introparents of the introduction week '26 to the Introparent Bonding Activity! As you all (hopefully) know, this year's theme is Absolute Cinema. Therefore, before attending the introduction week, you'll have to show what you're worth behind the screens.

During this activity you will have to be smart like Oppenheimer, fast like Lightning McQueen, and show teamwork like The Avengers. To make sure each duo will bond well, we have a final prize for the winner!

You will also get some free snacks and drinks so that your tape won't run out of frames to make an amazing film out of this amazing activity!

Only one of the parents needs to sign up, along with their duo.

Elk jaar draagt zijn eigen beproevingen en zijn eigen genoegens met zich mee. Voor de eerstejaars die net aan zijn studie begint, en voor de oudgediende die reikhalzend verlangt naar een salaris boven modaal, geldt dezelfde stille verwachting: dat er iets moois van het jaar gemaakt wordt. Die invulling verschilt van persoon tot persoon, en wat voor de één een sleur is, voelt voor de ander als een verzetje. Toch is er één zekerheid waarop ieder lid blindelings kan vertrouwen: De Maand'lijksche Borrel van Hèt Dispuut "In Vino Veritas".

Zoals elk jaar luiden wij het nieuwe academische jaar graag in met stijl en overvloed. En zoals elk jaar streven wij ernaar u iets extra's te bieden, bovenop wat u reeds van ons gewend bent. Witte, rode en mousserende wijnen zullen rijkelijk vloeien, opdat aan al uw wensen tegemoet wordt gekomen. Ook de gebruikelijke delicatessen zullen op tafel prijken. Nieuw dit jaar is de kennis die wij met trots mogen delen: drie van onze heren togen naar Reims om zich te bekwamen in de fijne kunst van de champagne, in de leer bij het gerenommeerde huis Pommery.

Als kersverse kenners zullen wij u dit fenomeen, deze borrel, met liefde en verfijning ontvouwen. Wij nodigen u dan ook van harte uit om ons te vergezellen op 31 augustus om 17:00 uur. Voor hapjes, en natuurlijk rijkelijk wijn, wordt uiteraard gezorgd.

Wij zien u graag in gepaste kleding, klaar voor een avond van decadentie.

After a hectic introduction week where you have (hopefully) made a lot of new friends it is time to really start your student life. And no student life without studying. However, you might already heard a lot of concepts you have never heard of, like "Canvas", "TE Timetable", "Plan App" or "Osiris". But don’t be afraid! There is no need to worry. Attending this training will teach you all the basics you need to know to survive all the software at the TU/e.

In case there are more then 70 people that want to attend, there will be a "first come, first serve" policy. In that case the remainder can view the session online.

TLDR: cool activities, dark cave, sign up

Are you ready for underground adventures in Valkenburg? Tight tunnels. Pitch-black passages. Walls you'll be clinging to. On Saturday October 3rd, we're ditching the daylight and heading deep into the dark underground for a day that'll push you way outside your comfort zone.

Whether you're squeezing through narrow cave corridors on a bike, conquering rock walls in the dark, or venturing into the unknown on an adventurous cave tour, this is the kind of day you'll still be talking about at the next borrel!

There are 3 activities, out of which you will do 2! When signing up, rank your top 2 activity preferences:

🚲 Cave biking

Discover this great underground landscape, by cave bike! Cycle through the cave, going left, right, seeing a high ceiling, then low again, narrow, spacious, no idea where you are anymore.

🔦 Adventurous cave tour

During this escape tour through the caves, you will discover the stories of the quarry workers, and encounter obstacles they left behind. There will be crawling, sneaking, shooting and even crossing the water!

🧗 Cave climbing

The Scramble Tour will take you to places that normally remain closed to the public. One of the guides will take you over several challenging courses including a via ferrata, and an abseil into the old well. Manoeuvre over the obstacles and stare into the depths.

💭 No preference

Be aware: activities will be split 10/10/10 across the group, so you might not get your 2 faves.

Only 30 spots available, so make sure to subscribe quickly! We leave at 10:30 by train. Travel costs are on you.
