TU/ecomotive is a student team that aims at shaping the future of sustainable mobility by implementing cutting edge ecological innovations into concept cars. With their newest car Phoenix, they are tackling the waste crisis. It sets an example for efficient closed-loop recycling as 75% of its materials can be reused to build future cars.
Solar Team Eindhoven is a student team that strives for a sustainable future, where life is powered by the sun. As a result they develop cars that run on solar energy. Their most recent car is called Stella Terra, which is the worlds first off-road solar car. It's designed to be self-sufficient, eliminating the need for charging stations, and it's engineered to handle not only paved roads but also rugged terrain.
Each year both teams are looking for new enthusiastic students, to help them achieve their goals. During the lecture they will elaborate on their goals and explain what it is like to be part of a student team.
Note: there is no subscription list! There are 135 spots in total with a first come first serve policy at the door. Meaning that we let the first 135 students in, GEWIS members will not be prioritized.
