Optimization in Practice

Want to know how Data Science and Operations Research is applied in large organizations? There is much more to it than just solving the equations. During this lunch lecture, Sander Vlot will tell you all about his work as OR Consultant at ORTEC. He will present a case study on global workforce planning, discuss how to develop and embed algorithms in decision making processes and how to make sure that the final solution is trusted by the people using it.
