If you are currently thinking: "I have no clue who these people are", try to remember those annoying first-years at the social drinks with their red and black hoodies, throwing around stickers like they're confetti, and sometimes consuming a generous amount of alcohol. If this doesn't ring a bell, firstly, your loss, secondly, you have come to the right place to learn more!
We as 50/50 try to experience everything that life has to offer. We embrace the game of chance, and seek the edges of true 50/50 chances. So if you were wondering why there was a bike with 50/50 stickers right next to the little tunnels? That is because one of our proud members took it upon himself to take the risk of driving in front of a car. Was it smart? Maybe not. But was there a chance that the car stopped, and our chair would have won the coinflip and walked out unscathed having stopped a car? Yes. And that is what we as 50/50 do. We take chances, we take risks, and face the consequences that come after.
So if you ever see a person with either a beautiful red and black sticker, or a red and black hoodie covered in logos everywhere, come and say hi! We don't bite, and we'd love to have a little chat with everyone. If you have never seen us ever before, congrats, you are one of the few, but just come to a social drink. There is about a (50+50)% chance that you'll see at least one of us strolling around doing things that sjaarzen do or something. Just come and say hi :).
