We are FYC 21-03 GELØL! We are an international first year committee that wants to promote communication and engagement between both international and dutch students.
Our motto is "Lidt Øl gør Lystig" which means "a little beer makes merry" in Danish. Unfortunately due to the pandemic, we haven't been able to put or motto to much practice, but we still enjoy having a few beers with each other's company, online.
Our name comes from the dutch word “gelul” meaning “banter” and the popular acronym “lol”, which is also used in dutch. The danish letter “Ø”, is there to add some spice and a different touch to our name, however we may integrate more Danish culture in our fyc and activities in the future, which you can look forward to.
