MaTCo Qualifying Tournament

This is the description: After some anticipation, we are officially announcing the selection tournament for the TU Eindhoven OFFICIAL IMC Team! This quiz will be the opportunity to compete for a spot on the university’s IMC team, where you can put your problem-solving intuition to the test alongside other motivated participants. The qualification tournament will take place on Friday, May 8th, from 13:30 to 15:30 aft MF9. The IMC will take place in Blagoevgrad, Bulgaria from the 27th of July to the 3rd of August 2026 — an international competition bringing together top students for a week of challenges, learning, and networking. The qualifying exam will be graded out of 15 points, with more points available in total so you can choose problems strategically. It consists of three parts: a computation section (focused on techniques like solving equations and integrals), a theory section (proof-based questions requiring clear reasoning), and an adaptive section (new problems where necessary background will be provided).
