Lunch lecture Vanderlande

Ever wondered how the world's largest airports handle millions of passengers annually? The talk covers the 3D modelling and simulation world of Airport Baggage Handling Systems and explores the modelling and system's way of thinking required to make these giant machines work as intended. The talk begins with a brief introduction to Vanderlande, followed by an insight into system thinking. We will briefly discuss topics such as system sizing, control systems needed, and finally, a look into a conceptual simulation for a future airport!
