Brainstorm Budget

We would like to invite you to brainstorm with us on how to distribute the money of GEWIS. We are just looking for input and opinions, so if you are interested in the finances of GEWIS or have an opinion on where we spend (and earn) our money, you are invited to come brainstorm with us. All brainstorms will be held during the lunch break.

We have already prepared some statements, which we will talk about in three sessions. Listed below, you will find these statements listed under three dates, categorized by theme. Note that these points vary widely, so anyone's opinion is valued.

If you want to contribute to the discussion on any of these statements, make sure to join that brainstorm. Any statements/ideas besides these are, of course, also welcome, but we do request that you present them in the most thematically appropriate session to ensure they reach the right people. If you do have new ideas to bring to the table, we would appreciate it if you could email those to us in advance at pm@gewis.nl.

Brainstorm 1: Events (February 27th)
- Weekends(and Défi activity) for the cost price
- FLUP is more expensive (for older years or both)
- No price reduction SNiC
- WISO at GEWIS
- Switch GMM at GEWIS
- No drinks after all GMMs
- Fewer BHVs or restrictions on prolonging BHV
- No ERO drinks

Brainstorm 2: General members and room (March 11th)
- Contribution from 20 euros to 25 euros
- Coffee monthly/yearly subscription
- Coffee no longer free (pay per use)
- No Newspaper
- No money for education archive (e.g., books for loan)
- No money for entertainment (e.g., games)

Brainstorm 3: Other (March 18th)
- No acquisition training (for member acquisition)
- No sustainability post
- Yearbooks for the cost price
- Profit on GEWIS Clothing
- No activity discount for the first years
