Career

Sioux Technologies, high-tech R&D and consultancy partner, will present two Mathware projects:

  1. “Thinking outside of the ‘Box’ à performing a large optimization analysis on historical order data to minimize shipment costs, eliminate air and reduce CO2 footprint!”
  2. “Physical simulations have many use cases in industry. Take, for example, Formula 1: to estimate the performance of a car, one can simulate and analyze the flow of air around it. In order to find the optimal design, a general approach is to make tiny changes and see if it improves the flow field. This requires many simulations in little time, while these simulations usually take a lot of computational effort… This is where Model Order Reduction comes in: we will look at methods to simplify the mathematical problem, to greatly improve the computation time of a solution.”
