The working field of Data Fundamentals and Analytics within the Tax and Customs Administration is large. Some specialists with this background work at Customs or the FIOD, for example, but most work at the Data Fundamentals & Analytics (DF&A) organizational unit. DF&A is the largest and most dynamic data environment within the Dutch government.

During the lunch lecture you will be taken into the work based on five examples:

• Modeling in general;
• Processing unstructured data in our way;
• Collaborate confidentially with other government organizations using simple encryption;
• The method of finding reference properties;
• How do we ensure that the models we use are fair?
