Lunch Lecture JouwWeb

At JouwWeb, they develop and operate a software-as-a-service solution, which gives small entrepreneurs and hobbyists the opportunity to easily create a professional website themselves. Passion for product development for the web is therefore central: both for the technical aspect and the functional aspect.
JouwWeb was started by owners Wouter Twisk and Roel van Duijnhoven during their Computer Science studies at TU/e. In recent years, JouwWeb has grown considerably, they can even be found in the Deloitte Fast 50!
YourWeb now hosts more than 70,000 domain names. All these domain names are -- as you would expect from a website these days -- accessible via HTTPS. Our platform runs on a high availability cluster in Google Cloud, but with 70,000 SSL certificates we can't just use Google's load balancers.
In this lunch lecture, Koen Kivits will talk about how JouwWeb manages its internet traffic and provides every website with a lock. You'll hear not only about how we're doing it now, but how we've gradually improved our system.
Please note: this lunch lecture will be physical! The capacity is a maximum of 75 participants. The draw will take place on Friday 22 October, after that it will be first come first serve! It is mandatory to show up after registration. You can unsubscribe until Monday 25 October 23.00.
