Web APIs and Open Banking @ ING With PSD2 (Revised Payment Service Directive) the banking sector is undergoing a large transformation. In 2018, European banks will have to open their customer data and services through APIs to third party companies. This present a technological challenge and an important move towards web API ecosystems. Are you interested to know more? - What it means PSD2 to European banks and why I should care about it?

  • How web APIs will enable to open and connect the banks with third parties?
  • Is the future of banks to become tech companies providing financial services?

Vladimir Mikovski works at ING, since October 2016, as DevOps Engineer. During his time at ING he did an assignment for 3 months in Singapore. He started his (Computer Science) studies in Madrid where after he worked as a Software Programmer. After two years Vladimir moved to The Netherlands and did his PDEng Software Engineering at the TU/e and now he is part of the International Talent Program at ING.
