Lunch Lecture Sioux

To make software testing possible all together, it is crucial to define the ‘how to test’. In an embedded environment, the hardware is commonly very scarce, if available at all. Test automation is therefore not a choice, it is a necessity. In the presentation “Test Automation - About breaking stuff efficiently” Dirk Coppelmans will dive deeper into this challenge and the ways to cope with it.
Dirk Coppelmans is software test architect at Sioux. Throughout his career he has been involved in the development of consumer products, medical equipment and industrial machinery. In his role as test architect, he defines how the software of a product in development needs to be tested. This means defining what to test, when to test, how to test and how thorough to test it.
