Batavierenrace

As long as we can remember, every year students from all over the Netherlands (and even further!) gather in Nijmegen where the Batavierenrace starts. Among students a legendary relay of 175 kilometers from Nijmegen to Enschede devided into 25 stages. Saterday night, 0:00, the race starts and then the teams runs stage by stage towards the finish in Enschede. After running a stage there is plenty of time to relax and enjoy the early summer sun with a bear or a small nap. When the sun sets, the students wake and an awesome party starts! One to never forget, the biggest student party in the BeNeLux! This year the party is going to be even better since it is the 8th lustrum of the Batavierenrace!
This year the Bata12 committee organizes that two teams of GEWIS participate. If you want to join in a team, spend a weekend in nearly Germany and join this awesome party: You can subscribe yourself on the pin-up board at GEWIS or by sending your name to Bata@gewis.nl or by talking with somebody of the committee.
