Hiii hiii fellow cake - enjoyers!! 🍰 Do you like decorating cupcakes more than baking them? Or do you just enjoy eating frosting? 😋 Then this activity is for you! This evening (23rd Feb), we will be decorating cupcakes, which are home-baked by us, the members of GETAART. Every cupcake you decorate you get to keep and eat yourself! Furthermore, there will be a small competition to see who can make the most creative cupcake creation.
Note: There is a subscription limit of 20 people, so subscribe quickly!!
Disclaimer: If you are allergic or intolerant for either eggs, gluten, dairy, and/or sugar you can still participate if you bake three cupcakes on your own, this way we (and you) know for certain that everything goes as planned! :)

POKÉMON: GOTTA EAT 'EM ALL!
This time GETAART and GEPWNAGE are combining their powers with the ultimate culinary showdown: The Pokébowl activity.
Get ready to channel your inner Pokémon Trainer and culinary genius because we're turning pokébowls into works of art. Pickachu? Squirtle? More like "Pika-choose this bowl". We are talking about pokébowl perfection, picture yourself crafting a pokébowl masterpiece that looks so good, even Pickachu would be jealous about its appearance. Charmander? More like Char-muncher. Get ready to "Diglett" into the tastiest pokebowl creations you've ever seen. Prepare for a flavor explosion that'll have you saying, "Blastoise, that's delicious. " or “Mew-licious”. Get ready to "Seel" the deal with pokébowls so delicious, you'll be saying, "I choose you, every time!", or even “Absol-utely delicious”. Okay last one:
Why did the Pokémon bring a towel to the cooking competition?
Because it wanted to make sure it didn’t get Misty!
At the subscription list you can choose if you want chicken, salmon, both or vegetarian. The vegetarian option is 1 euro cheaper than the other options. So come to the GEWIS room on the 2nd of April at 18.00 to make the most beautiful pokebowls that look like Pokémons.

Once upon a winter's eve, there was a legendary event that had been missing from GEWIS for far too long: GETAART Chocolate Fondue night. The enchanting aroma of melted chocolate and the laughter of students gathered around fondue pots had become distant memories, lost in the cold snowy winds.
But fear not, since a Christmas miracle is about to unfold! Hold on to your taste buds because the legend is making a grand comeback! Picture this: 19 December at GEWIS, the air will be filled with the magical scent of liquid chocolate and Glühwein. Yes you heard it right, there will be chocolate and Glühwein. Who can resist these seasonal delights? Right NOBODY!
So wrap yourself in the warmth of joy, get ready to dip into the Christmas spirit, share laughter and bring back the sweet vibes on the 19th of December! It's not just a comeback; its also a festive activity you don't want to miss.

Do you like cooking or do you just like eating? Well, GETAART got you covered by organizing a dinner roulette. You can sign up with a partner and experience exquisite dishes prepared by two other pairs and yourself.
The idea of a dinner roulette is that you will create one dish (appetizer, main dish, or dessert) together with your partner and organize a place to serve it (yours or your partner's place). Please enter your preference for the course you would like to cook in the subscription form. You will serve this dish to your partner, two other pairs, and yourself. The other courses will be taken care of by the other pairs.
By the end of the evening, you would have had a three-course meal at three different locations and only made one of those courses yourself. What a bargain, right?
What's more, you will only need to pay a measly 6 euros for this entire feast! The cooking costs for the appetizer can be declared up to €20, the main course up to €30, and the dessert up to €20 (so €70 in total for all cooking costs).
You will also mix and mingle with a lot of people throughout the night and experience the genius culinary creations of others.
To make sure that the travel time is not too long between your courses please let us know where you are planning to serve your dish by email (getaart@gewis.nl) after you have subscribed. The information will only be communicated to members of GETAART, it will only be used for the schedule, and of course all the information on locations will be deleted afterward.
Have you ever been in a sushi restaurant, and wondered how these chefs manage to create such beautiful sushi rolls? We're going to (try to) teach you their secrets. Most importantly, we're going to eat the tasty sushi that we made!
We have space for at most 30 people, so you should subscribe quickly! People who join the GMM will get prioritized over other members.
Do you like ice cream? Yes of course you do! What better than enjoying an ice cream sandwich in the break? We from GETAART will be handing them out on the first of June. So just swing by and we will see you then! Make sure to be on time tho, because they might go quickly!

Do you think you are the best baker of GEWIS? Then join the GETAART bake-off! Make the prettiest and tastiest cake, brownie, cupcakes or other baked (or refrigerated) snack.
Do you like cakes, but are you a terrible baker? No worries, because you can still join. Everyone will receive several pieces of cake, and you can vote. There will be a prize for the best cake, so sign up for our bake-off on the 31st of May at 15.30 on the Fluxfield!
Please send us a receipt for your groceries, so we can compensate you. Also send us a picture, for easier voting on Monday. On Sunday, we will send out an email with the amount of subscribers, so you know in how many pieces to cut the cake. Please cut your cake before the activity, to keep things as corona-proof as possible. You can drop it off at the beginning of the activity, and we will distribute everything for you.

Are you in the Christmas spirit yet? And do you crave something sweet to go with the weather? Then GETAART has the activity for you! For only a small price, you can be the proud owner of your very own gingerbread man. On the 14th of December, you can pick him up in the centre, the north or the south of Eindhoven. You can also choose to receive some decorations as well, as there will be a competition for the prettiest gingerbread man.
Subscribe below, and indicate how many gingerbread men you want, whether you want to receive decorations, and where you would like to pick up the gingerbread man.
If you’re not able to pick up the gingerbread man during the given time, but are available later the same day, subscribe and send us an email to arrange late pickup.
After one week, so the 21st of December, the winner of the competition will be announced, and there will be a prize for the winner. To participate, decorate a gingerbread man, and send a picture to GETAART@gewis.nl.

Hi culinairy miracles, GETAART is organising diner rouler, which you can join with a partner of your choice! The idea of diner rouler is that you create one dish (appetizer, main dish or dessert) together with your partner, and you fix a place to serve it (for example at your or your partners place). You will serve this dish to yourself and your partner and two other couples. The other dishes will be taken care of by other couples on other locations. This means that you and your partner will consume 3 dishes on 3 different location in the company of 2 other couples per dish, so 6 other couples in total! What makes this activity extra fun is that in just one evening you will be able to mingle with a lot of people, you can express all your culinary creativity and get inspired by the creations of others. We will make a schedule in which we mix up all the couples. And to ensure that traveling between dishes does not take too long, we would like to know where you will serve your dish. With the privacy law in mind we do not ask you to put this location on the website, instead we ask you to email this information to getaart@gewis.nl. The information will only be communicated to members of GETAART, it will only be used for the schedule and off course all the information on locations will be deleted afterwards.
Monday 25th of March is the GETAART cupcake decorating workshop for only one euro! We will provide 4 cupcakes for everyone and a lot of stuff you can use to decorate them. There will be explanations how to decorate the cupcakes, but you can of course make whatever you like! There will be prizes for the most beautiful cupcakes :)
There is not a limited amount of people who can join the workshop, but the first 36 subsriptions can take their decorating tools home! (only if you show up)
If you want to take your decorated cupcakes home, we ask to bring your own food container.
Coming Thursday it is the 14th of March, which means it is pi-day!! Therefore you can get a free piece of pie at GEWIS during the lunch break, freshly baked by the members of GETAART!
