This year, we will visit the German Eifel. Here we have arranged some great activities for you, both on the Saturday and Sunday. We won’t spoil them yet, but examples from previous years are biking, climbing and canoeing.
Next to this, there is more to enjoy during the weekend, you can “stream” in the river at the campsite (ask B.O.O.M. members for details) and in the evening there will be a campfire to keep you warm. Since we are on a campsite, we will sleep in cozy tents.
You don’t have to bring/buy your own food or drinks as this is all inclusive during the weekend! On Friday you have the opportunity to taste Sako’s famous pasta salad, and on Saturday you can enjoy a nice BBQ. Next to that, we will arrange a sufficient supply of beers and soda (and coffee for the tough mornings, don’t worry).
The weekend will take place from 5th till 7th of June 2026, if you want to join please subscribe below.
As we need enough cars to drive everyone to Germany, people with a car available will be given priority if necessary. This year, only the fuel costs will be compensated, so make sure to start and end the weekend with a full tank. If you have a car available, please indicate this and mention how many places (including yourself) you have in the car. We would also like to know if you have a tent. We will not make tent groups but this might give other people some help in asking around to find a place to sleep :)

The world is on fire, groceries are more expensive than your study credits, and the Dutch weather doesn’t seem to know what season it is either.
So we’ll just do it ourselves: one night, four seasons. And probably four stages of drunkenness.
Because Dispuut B.O.O.M. is turning 20, and we’re obviously not letting that pass quietly. The last week of May will be entirely dedicated to our 4th Lustrum, with the grand finale on Friday, May 29th: the Lustrum Gala.
A gala? Indoors? Of course not! Grab your boots from the closet, because we’ve arranged a beautiful outdoor location especially for all lovers of the outdoors.

The theme is Four Seasons, so expect fresh outfits, sweating on the dance floor, falling people, and eventually ending the night in something resembling a hibernation.

Everyone is welcome, including non-GEWIS members. They can subscribe themselves, but this is not needed if you indicate that you pay for them.

What’s your favorite season for a borrel? Summer, with an ice-cold beer or soda in the sun? Winter, with a steaming mug of gluhwein or hot chocolate? Autumn, with a refreshing boswandeling? Or Spring, with a crisp cocktail or mocktail in hand?
Can’t decide? Neither can we! That’s why for this lustrum, we’re bringing out all the seasons at once. During these drinks, you’ll enjoy the best seasonal beverages, all while soaking up the spring sunshine. And for those who stay loyal to their goudgele rakker no matter the weather: don't worry, the beer will be flowing freely!
On top of that, we’re revisiting some of B.O.O.M.’s finest traditions and activities of the last 5 years. Grab your camping chair for a spot in 'the river' (read: the pool) or kick back in our outdoor cinema. Feeling active? Go wild on the volleyball court or head out for a canoe trip (note: bring your own canoe!). And of course, you guessed it: the BBQ will definitely be fired up!

Whether your mind goes to grandma’s recipes, the cooking skills of Gordon Ramsay, or outdoor cooking videos, the B.O.O.M. Lustrum campfire cooking activity offers the perfect balance between culinary excellence and primitive cooking—resulting in a delicious selfmade five-course meal.
There will also be tasty drinks available via Sudosos.
The activity starts at 16:00, because before you can cook on a campfire, you’ll of course need to build it. If 16:00 doesn’t work for you but you can make it at 17:00, please indicate this when signing up.
We have a capacity of 25 participants on a first come, first served basis.

We know you all feel very close to the DOMMEL. It’s time to get closer! The B.O.O.M. + First years workgroup have arranged a beautiful kayaking activity which you can join. Some of you might remember being promised canoing and barbecue last year, where only barbecue was achieved. Funny enough this time the barbecue got cancelled, but we promise that you will get wet. 🛶
Once you have accepted the inevitable, we will be expecting you to come prepared with closed shoes and unimportant clothes on the 13th of June. We gather by the Werfgebouw, located by the bridge near Luna. There are two timeslots so that you can adjust to your schedule: 14.00-16:00 for the first time-slot and at 16.00-18:00 for the second, where you will kayak through the DOMMEL with your friends and our precious guides from OKAWA for 2 hours. Prepare to be wet and tired!

On Monday, September 23rd, B.O.O.M. invites you to another edition of our Outdoor Cinema where we’ll be screening two fantastic films (keeping the titles a secret for now!). Free popcorn will be provided and of course, we wouldn’t be B.O.O.M. without firing up the BBQ!
To make the night extra comfortable, we recommend you to bring your own camping chair.

Did you know as B.O.O.M., we are having our birthday on the 19th of september? And did you know we are getting our 19th annual ring? Older than most new first years joining GEWIS!
Well, that is a great reason for a party! So together with the BAC we have arranged for you a great borrel! Outside ofcourse as you might expect of us (west side of the Flux field).
There will be witte trappist on the draft for you to enjoy, and if that is not enough Boswandeling will be shot of the week! And if that is not enough, We arranged the great deal of 2 Boswandeling for the price of 1,19!!! Special for our 19th Annual ring.
Next to this we will also light up the BBQ and prepare you some nice hotdogs.

Hello everyone,
Do you also like canoeing and eating (vega) hamburgers and sausages on the barbeque? Then you’re lucky, because B.O.O.M. and a couple of sjaarzen have arranged a beautiful activity which you can join. 🛶
This canoeing activity will take place the 14th of June. We gather at 15.00 at GEWIS and then cycle together to the canoe place, where we will canoe from 15.30 till 17.30. Afterwards there will be a barbeque arranged back at the university terrain. 🍖🍻

We all know what fire is. We have felt it up close and seen it in various sizes, from small to large. It can be nice and cozy when it's in a campfire, and we sit around it, but it can also be destructive, destroying everything in its path. Around 2 million years ago, humans started to use fire to our advantage. Over all these years, we have mastered the use of fire and controlled it to our benefit, leading us to where we are now. Even with the technology we have today, we still cannot control fire everywhere.
Almost everyone has seen fire breathers at festivals or in a circus, and it looks absolutely spectacular. Have you ever thought, 'I can do that?' Or maybe, 'I would like to learn that as well so I look super cool for my family and friends?' This is a unique chance to try it in a controlled environment. If you join us in this activity, it's your time to shine and breathe fire.
We have arranged for a professional trainer who is specialized in fire breathing. He will join us and explain everything you want to know about fire breathing. First, he will give an introductory course on all there is to know about fire breathing. After this, we will do some exercises to learn how to properly breathe fire. And finally, we will, of course, go outside and put into practice what we have learned. The entire instruction, including the fire breathing itself, will take between 3 to 4 hours. If you subscribe, you need to be present for the entire activity.

Do you need to compensate for all the delicious food during the holidays? Are you looking for a way to make your New Year's resolutions more practical? Do you want to enjoy the nice Dutch nature? Are you concerned about keeping up your vitamin D levels for this winter? Do you need some more practice before the GEDWAAL weekend? Do you need to blow off some steam before the exams? Do you love B.O.O.M.? (Or trees?)
The B.O.O.M. Winter Hike will solve all of this! On Sunday, January 14, we will go to the Loon op Zand by public transport, from which we can explore the beautiful Loonse en Drunense duinen.
Put on some good walking shoes and participate in our WhatsApp group for the latest updates. We will take a break at a local restaurant, but it would be convenient to also pack some water and a snack for on the road.
Once in a while, we all need to escape our tiny student rooms and make sure to get those muscles moving. To help you, we again have organized a weekend full of activities. Join us at a campsite near Dinant, in Belgium! Enjoy the free 'streaming' service (a.k.a. the river) by day and the (live!) campfire by night, of course with plenty of drinks and BBQ.
To get some action, we will take you to some great activities in the neighborhood. In particular, on Saturday we will combine a climbing activity with canoeing. To accommodate for different levels of fitness/laziness/love for climbing, we offer two different climbing trails: easy (2,5h) and intermediate (3h), so please indicate your preference.
Of course, this is an all-inclusive weekend! We will spend the night camping in tents, below you can indicate whether you have a tent and for how many people (including yourself). If you don't have a tent, don't worry, just contact one of the people who have indicated that they have a tent (we will not make tent groups). We may also create a WhatsApp group for everyone joining the weekend to ease communication. Soda, beers, and some coffee for those who cannot live without their daily rate will be taken care of, as well as plenty of Sako's pasta salad on Friday and a BBQ on Saturday.
As it is a long walk to Dinant, we are also looking for cars so we can take everyone. Please indicate below whether you have a vehicle available and how many people you can take (including yourself).
We are planning on taking 52 people with us for the weekend, so don't hesitate to subscribe before the list is full! In case the list is full before Monday, April 3rd at 12am, there will be a draw among those who subscribed. Otherwise it is first come first serve. To make sure we have enough cars, people who can arrange one will have priority if needed.

Too bussy with your study and done sitting inside? Forgot what B.O.O.M.en look and smell like? want to see and feel the sun directly on your skin instead of trough the window?
Therefore, B.O.O.M. presents to you: NS hike!
Put on your walking shoes and discover together with B.O.O.M. new pieces of nature where we all have not been yet. To get to the location we take public transport (~1 hour) and walk towards an end point where we can take public transport back to Eindhoven. All of this while enjoying the nature, some drinks and snacks!
We will be making a winter walk on Sunday the 19th of March!

We're back in business baby! Bocomel, Burgers, B.O.O.M. and Boutside. Even though the temperatures might not be that wintery anymore (which the BAC will be very happy with) we're still going to make it a lovely warm and winterlike borrel. Come and join us for some (stroh)bocomel, BBQ grilled burgers (veggie burgers available!) and some hearthy gluhwein. Of course the BAC will help us out and serve some lovely other beverages.

Temperatures are dropping and the B.O.O.M.en are losing their leaves (except for Ruben, he is somehow still collecting more leaves). Usually this is the time of year during which we tell you to stop whining about the cold and just keep going outside, but we decided to make an exception. Note: We will still force you to borrel outside during the B^x borrel, but more info on that later. As fun as climbing actual B.O.O.M.en might be, for this activity we will be conquering the indoor climbing walls of Neoliet! Additionally, we will also explore some indoor 'speleo' tunnels in which you can both prove your dexterity and unleash your inner child without being judged*. We know that the inflation has not been kind to us this year (classic 'pechgeneratie'), so we got you covered! For the low cost of €10 for sjaarzen, €20 for studying members, or €35 for ouwelullen, you will get all of the following:
The program is suited for both beginners and more experienced climbers (or beginners with a lot of confidence), so everybody can sign up! Please be aware that this activity begins at 16:00 and may thus clash with your lectures.
