First year programming contest (FYPC)

Useful for first-year students

Still emotionally debugging after Quartile 3? It’s time to make coding fun again!

Join us on May 10 Saturday on the First Year Students Coding Competition! Upper years can also sign up, just that first years will be prioritized.

You’ll have:

  • Coding tasks that are fun to do for first year students.
  • Chaotic mini-games to get you out of your chair and help for you to get some movement.
  • Free lunch, big snack stock, and of course drinks.
  • A borrel after.

Whether you enjoy coding or just survived by skipping the assembly in Computer Systems, we have something for you and your team of 3!

Practical information:

  • The competition is intended for groups of three, you can sign up as a group of two, but groups of three have priority.
  • The competition is intended for the first years. However, you are still allowed to participate as a higher year.
  • There is a maximum of 25 teams. If there are more teams subscribed at the moment of closing, we will hold a draw. When drawing the teams, we will prioritize first-year teams.
