Fighting human trafficking with cryptography
Today's society is powered by data. As more parts of our lives are digitized, how do we ensure the proper use of our data? Meet the cryptographic technique called Multi-Party Computation (MPC). In this presentation we will explain the basic concepts behind this method and discuss applications. As an example use case, we helped a group of NGOs and government agencies to share data in a privacy-preserving manner such that they could fight human trafficking without sacrificing the privacy of victims.
