Lunch Lecture PhD / PDEng
Students who want to work on solving complex problems in a challenging, competitive, and innovative environment and who want to achieve a leading position in R&D (basic research, applied research, and experimental development) or technological innovation, should consider accelerating their career by continuing their professional development by means of a PhD degree program or a PDEng (Professional Doctorate in Engineering) degree program, in close collaboration with industry.
Robin Mennens will provide an interesting presentation on why he decided to go for the 2 year salaried post-master PDEng (EngD) Software Technology program for technological designers with TU/e, give some nice examples of multidisciplinary group training projects and also elaborate on his individual graduation project “The Philips Remote AI Streaming (PRAIS) platform”. His thesis was nominated for TU/e PDEng Thesis Award 2021.
