Working on a project mostly means writing code, and working on a project in a team means sharing code, which often goes wrong if you send your code via a text file by email. Luckily for us a solution to this problem already exists; the code sharing language GIT. GIT makes coding together a lot easier! Learn how to use GIT at the GitHub beginner training from TRAIN. This training is aimed at students that have no (or little) experience with code sharing platforms, and who would like to learn how to effectively work on code together with their fellow students, at the same time.
We will be using GitHub desktop to explore the basics of GIT during the training. During the training you will learn the following skills:
The training takes places online from 19:30 until 20:30 and you will be able to ask further questions until 21:00. The training will be provided by trainer Gert Jan Timmerman from Info Support. Are you interested to hear more about Info Support as a company? Then let us know via the subscription on the GEWIS website.
Are there specific things you would like to learn? Send them in via train@gewis.nl!
Does this all sounds too simple for you? Then the Advanced GIT Training on March 23rd might be interesting for you!
Please contact Training or the board (ceb@gewis.nl) with any questions, concerns or if you are unable to attend after the deadline for unsubscribing has passed. Have fun!
