Lunch Lecture Atos

IOTA, the better version of Blockchain and the Ledger of Everything!

In 2009, Bitcoin released its blockchain infrastructure and promised to become a global decentralized system that could be used by anyone without the need for intermediaries. Now, more than 10 years later it has become apparent (high fee’s, slow transaction times and poor scalability) that blockchains mathematical model isn’t suited to become a worldwide payment system.

However, the next generation of Distributed Ledger Technology is now here and it’s called IOTA! This protocol is designed from the ground up to power the Machine economy through feeless micro-transactions and data integrity utilizing a mathematical principle, called Directed-Acyclic-Graph (DAG). It is this concept that allows IOTA to outperform blockchain in every way and established a network dubbed the ‘‘Tangle’’ It is expected that this technology will become the very backbone for the Internet of Things and power the internet of tomorrow! Curious how this works? Come and listen to the presentation!
