“In Vino Veritas” Met De Fles Op Tafel

Ladies and Gentlemen,

Some of you might already be familiar with pub quizzes. Most I.V.V’ers enjoy the occasional pub quiz. However, whenever we would participate in one of these so called quizzes, we noticed that there was something missing; a certain “Je ne sais quoi”, if you’ll pardon my French. We realized that we were unable to showcase our tactical acumen that would even put a 5 star general to shame during these quizzes. Thus, we decided to add a bluffing element to our quizzes.

There is no better feeling than staring down your opponent and making them believe you answered more questions correctly then they did (which might not even be the case). When you succeed in this you will be overcome with joy and euphoria. To give you an opportunity to feel this joy and euphoria yourselves, I.V.V will organize a bluffing quiz evening in the style of a Dutch television show called “Met het Mes op Tafel”. This form of quizzing does have some specific rules which will be explained at the beginning of the evening. In regular I.V.V fashion, we will be serving delicious hors d’oeuvre and wines during the entire evening. At the end of the quiz, the participants will be able to continue enjoying the company of their quizmasters and the hors d’oeuvres and wines at the bar.

The activity will take place on the 11th of February at GEWIS starting at 19:00. Only 25 spots will be available so make sure to sign up in time. This will be possible starting the 5th of February starting at 12:00.
