An In-house day is the ultimate experience to see not only what a large company such as IMC does in the trading business, but to also broaden your horizon in the search for your future career. Note that there are only 20 spots! If there are more than 20 subscriptions, Master students will be favored over bachelor students.
During IMC’s In-house day we will challenge you with an assignment to help you see how your skills apply to financial markets. Together with two of our traders and/or engineers, you will play a trading game –a perfect opportunity to better understand how much fun it is to work at IMC. We will play the game using Python. We will also use the opportunity to tell you more about trading and technology at IMC. Feel free to ask us all your questions about our business, life at IMC and more.

IMC is a leading global market maker, using algorithmic trading and advanced technology to buy and sell securities on multiple trading venues worldwide. We provide liquidity to the financial markets, driving efficiencies for buyers and sellers.
We operate globally from offices in Europe, the US and Asia Pacific. Our employees work closely together in multidisciplinary teams, making our success possible.
Technology - At IMC, technology is not a department, it is at the heart of everything we do. Our technologists push the limits of possibility, and then look beyond. In our fast-paced environment, short feedback loops mean projects worked on in the morning can enter production the next day.
Trading – Although our traders come from many backgrounds they all have one thing in common: they are at their best solving complex problems. Their insight into global events, market shifts and pricing ensure we are trading in the right place, at the right time.
Everyone is welcome but this In-houseday is aimed at Mathematics students and Computer Science students with an interest in algorithmic thinking and complex problem solving . Note that the travel to Amsterdam will be arranged, the departure times will be communicated later.
