In your studies you learn a lot, but how you can apply what you learn at a company remains sketchy at best. Two graduates, one with a background in computer science and the other in applied mathematics will share their experiences with you, such as the step of student to professional and the role of a professional with your particular background. Also the problems that need to be solved will be discussed. How do you work with a codebase of 40 million lines of code? How does the software architecture help with this? What is the importance of mathematical models to a machine? Where do the mathematics and computer science meet and have to work together?
