Microsoft: 'Cloud Computing'

On February 9th you are invited to a Microsoft event about Cloud Computing. There will be two presentations, one given by Microsoft Student Partners and one by Capgemini - an IT consultancy company, followed by a borrel. You will have the opportunity to win an Xbox 360 + Kinect and more!!!

The first presentation will include a short introduction on the Cloud concept and a step-by-step approach to programming for Windows Azure. For the demonstration part, a recent TUE university project will be used. The application aggregates news from several sources and uses machine learning to deliver them to users in a personalized manner.

Then, Capgemini will then go into further details on a specific topic concerning the real world challenges when it comes to the Cloud.
