Career Useful for first-year students Useful for master students

About this activity

At Sioux Mathware, we tackle a wide range of challenges across different industries and markets, all having a strong mathematical or physical basis. One such challenge lies in combinatorial optimization, namely the loading of trucks with pallets and boxes. The different loading configurations need to be evaluated efficiently, while meeting constraints such as temperature zones and loading order. Arno will discuss the work we did for this project in more detail. In addition, Gijs will provide insights into his previous internship on Robocup motion planning, combining physical modeling of an autonomous robot with setpoint optimization for route planning and traversal.
