About this activity

Founded in 1996 in Amsterdam, Booking.com has grown from a small Dutch startup to one of the world’s leading digital travel companies. By investing in the technology that helps take the friction out of travel, Booking.com seamlessly connects millions of travellers with memorable experiences, a range of transport options and incredible places to stay – from homes to hotels and much more. Nick Randall will give a lecture about building the Booking.com mobile app to serve 100 million+ users each month. In his talk he will look at how dozens of product teams are enabled to constantly improve the Booking.com iOS and Android apps. He'll also cover general topics from how teams are structured, how they decide what features to build, and how they measure the benefit those features provide (A/B testing). On the tech side, he will go over the development workflow Booking.com uses and the challenges they face with many people contributing to a single large app codebase.
