Resource Management Analyst at Shell

Resource Management ensures all IT projects in Shell are staffed up and down by matching some 5000 staff IT and 5000 external contractors to projects, based on skill / location and timing needs. We run our day-2-day work on ServiceNow IT Business Management System, supported by various AI/ML enhancements and use Power BI for management information and decision making. The intern will be tasked to drive several continuous improvement initiatives (process / system / ways of working) to reduce the lead times to fulfill project sourcing requirements, whilst improving the quality of selections. This internship gives a unique birds-eye view of how large tech organisations run IT project staffing in a data-driven way and will require both technical, change & engagement and commercial skills and accumen.
