Your department and role

IBM iX® works at the intersection of strategy, design and technology to digitally reinvent our client’s business. We take a human-centered, outcomes-led approach to defining the client’s digital strategy and delivering exceptional customer experiences to build the client’s business, by design.

You’ll join our Retail Consulting team that works for leading retailers in the Benelux that sell food, non-food and fashion products. Our consulting services range from eCommerce, SAP, Analytics, IoT to Automation and beyond.

Your responsibilities

As an Associate Digital Commerce Consultant, you will use technologies such as hybrid cloud, Automation, IoT and artificial intelligence to help accelerate and transform the retail business of our clients so they can work smarter, more agile and to increase their readiness to meet the everchanging consumer needs.

You will:

• Analyze, Design and Implement Operations, eCommerce or Planning processes for leading Retailers in the Benelux
• Work in a dynamic and agile environment often with daily scrum/team stand ups
• Analyze, Design and Implement system designs
• Making (sub) plans and identifying project risks
• Monitoring project deliverables and milestones

Depending on your skills and ambitions, the focus of your assignment will most likely be within eCommerce/Online, Operations (often with SAP), Analytics, or another topic that is close to the interests of our clients.

Your profile

We are looking for entry level candidates from all backgrounds with < 2 years of full-time working experience to become full-time Associate Consultants.

You have:

• A Masters degree within a relevant field, such as Informatics or Industrial Engineering – all in all you are into (information) technology!
• Active interest in retail and the consumer products industry
• Good theoretical understanding of (the impact of) retail technology and a basic understanding of current retail(er) issues
• You want to be part of an experienced team to learn and develop further
• Fluency in Dutch and English
• Driving license B is required
