Junior Trading Systems Engineer at Da Vinci Derivatives

As a Systems Performance Engineer at Da Vinci, you’ll work closely with a fun team of skilled researchers, traders and developers. Our engineers are key to making sure our in-house trading system maintain its high performance and runs efficiently at all times.

Responsibilities:

• Manage the configuration of our trading system with a keen eye on resource management, latency and performance planning
• Implement solutions to monitor and alert effectively, making sure we spot potential issues before they happen
• Investigate and solve production issues, as well as classify symptoms, identify trends and structurally fix root causes
• Collaborate with the Performance Engineers to get the most out of our systems
• Work closely with developers, helping write code and scripts and improving our CI/CD process

Requirements:

• Strong communication skills and an intrinsic desire to help others
• Investigative and problem-solving mindset, leaving no stone unturned to get to the bottom of any issue
• Ability to identify underlying root causes and fix recurring issues once and for all
• Desire to structure, automate and optimise tools and processes
• Strong affinity for technology, computers and networks
• A ‘get it done’ mindset, even if that means having to occasionally work outside of regular business hours
